To: SM reflector, SEC reflector, STM Reflector, NMs, ORS, NTS Area Chairs, NTSD Chairs, all Traffic Handlers

If you are an SM or SEC you are receiving this to keep you apprised of what we are doing. You may click the link and take a look at it but please do not click submit. However, if you are an SM or SEC and an active part of the National Traffic System (NTS) community, please do take it.

Everyone else receiving this is asked to please post it to your email lists of NTS manual and digital traffic handlers, and to take it yourself.

This ARRL Emergency Communications Advisory Committee NTS Survey is an update from one that was posted mid-May and then pulled down for some revisions. Approximately 60 NTS participants took it before it was taken down and revised. Since this is a new survey we urge you to please re-take it if you are among the 60 that already did.

We hope that many manual and digital NTS traffic handlers will take this survey to provide us with a statistically significant set of responses.

The survey link is posted on the NTS portion of the ARRL website. You may find the link to the survey by clicking or pasting this link in your browser:
www.arrl.org/nts

The survey will end midnight, Monday, June 24. We expect to send reminder emails on Friday, June 14 and Friday, June 21. Please take a few minutes to complete and submit the survey.

73, Jim Cross WI3N
SM MDC
Chairman ARRL ECAC

Rumor Control Note: This is not an idea or suggestion list. Although we are asking a wide range of questions here, it does not mean that any particular idea is under active consideration. Our goal is to permit a broad range of opinions and ideas to be gathered. The results will be used in discussions by the Emergency Communications Advisory Committee during development of guidance to the ARRL Board of Directors.
