Ward Silver, N0AX passed this information on to me and I know
there are many MO Section Amateurs interested in the W1AW/0.
Check it out and if you are interested use the contact info
provided Dale Bagley, K0KY ARRL MO SM

For the ARRL Centennial QSO Party
(www.arrl.org/centennial-qso-party), Missouri will be represented
by stations using the call sign W1AW/O during the 7-day periods
beginning at 0000 UTC on May 28th and Oct 8th. The coordinators
for W1AW/O operation in Missouri are the NOSS - Mid-MO ARC (for
the week of May 28th) and NOAX (for the week of Oct 8th). Big
stations and modest stations are welcome - you don't need to be a
Big Gun to participate! You can operate as a club or as an
individual station and we will try to accommodate all interested
parties.

If your club would like to participate by activating a club
station or by coordinating the individual stations of club
members, please designate a club representative and have them
contact us. Individual operators who would like to activate
their home station and station owners who would like to host
operators at their station should contact us directly. We'll try
to keep this simple and will post an online operating schedule
for everyone as it develops.

If you are interested in participating during the week beginning
May 28th, contact Mitch Odneal NWOM at nw0m@arrl.net. If you are
interested in participating during the week beginning Oct 8th,
contact Ward Silver NOAX at n0ax@arrl.net. Please provide the
following information:
Name and call
Your email address
Dates you are available
Modes you can activate

It will be a while before we start planning on an hour-by-hour
basis so we only need to know those basic pieces of information.
In the meantime, you can get ready by working all of the other
W1AW/x stations and by just listening to the pileups for practice
at picking out call signs.

This will be a lot of fun and there is guaranteed to be plenty of
interest as you have seen by the pileups on the bands for other
W1AW/x stations. Here is your opportunity to be on the "right
side" of the pileup for a change, show the flag for our state,
and promote the ARRL Centennial!
