Gyalogradio Award
The aim of the Award is to recognize amateur radio stations activating or
hunting Hungarian SOTA Summits.
All HAMs and SWLs can apply for the Award based on contacts after
1st May 2005.
Conditions:
The Award is issued on four levels.
- FIGYELO (WATCHER): for conducting 13 QSOs with Summit activators
regardless of country or region of Summits.
- KIRANDULO (HIKER): for activating any 3 Hungarian Summits.
- FELFEDEZO (EXPLORER): for activating Summits in 3 different Hungarian
regions, minimum 2 Summits per region.
- MAGYAR VANDOR¦: for activating Summits in all 5 active Hungarian
regions, minimum 3 Summits per region.
QSOs on all amateur bands and in all modes count for the Award, except
contacts through terrestrial repeaters. All QSOs and activations must
comply with the General Rules of SOTA and the Hungarian ARM.
Application must contain the name and address of the applicant, log
extract including reference data of activated/contacted Summits, and
signature of two amateurs for authenticity.
Cost of the Award is euro 7, for domestic stations 1500 Ft.
