WFC 2006 Awards on their Way
In mid-September the first 2,700 awards of the World Football Cup
2006 activity verified until August 31 will be shipped. The awards
processing team will prepare a huge mailing next week and post the
envelopes to the YLs and OMs around the world. For reasons of
postage savings, every envelope will contain exactly one award - so
if you have applied for all three levels, you will receive three
envelopes.
About 100 applications could not be verified yet - these have to
wait until the huge shipping is over - then they will be re-checked.
Several applicants still have not supplied the award fee while
others have transferred the fee but not applied for an award yet. Of
course, we may have made a mistake here too. All these special cases
will be resolved after the bug shipment. We ask for your
understanding when processing these special cases takes a little
longer.
If you have not received your award by the end of September, please
check http://www.amateurradio2006.de award, applications received
for any new information. A second batch of awards will be shipped
some time in October.
