Hello Ian.,
Don't blame yourself for the "jack" mystery. There is so many of
them out there, and with differing names , here and there, does it really
matter? I just imagined one we had over here that fit in metal slots
on metal bumpers...with a few clicks it was up ... the handle had a
end for taking off the nuts, and the other end was supposed to be used
for getting the whell covers off. No matter, the public interest
moves on, or we get juicy better storys of horror. Bad news is
always better then good news....
I saw the one on the news here about the lady and her daughter who burned
in the car, and why. Interesting, but alast, our public eye swept
that under the rug and moved along like they do most.
Maybe ,one of these fine days of no-news, they'll drag the bottom and
tell you what happened and as a hohum addition to the news the politicians
and local whatevers will all stand together and say what a wonderful
job they did cleaning this situation up. Talking heads, clapping
and thats it as perhaps you'll get a new law.
Thanks anyhow, we had some great exchanges over it all.
