Hi Clem and readers,
"We lost one of our digipeaters..." explains the delay, but still it is
wise for readers to take whatever steps are needed to discern late
traffic and comments out of time.
Thanks for the explanation and the praise given to those who helped with
the repairs.
Oh, no need to emphasize the words "radio network" as we're already aware
of that, something made obvious by the R lines. Now if that radio network
would get it's act together and forward to the rest of the world by radio
it would be a marked step forward and a great improvement over the loused
up LLL network you use for this purpose. VK6AVE forwards to WB0TAX by
land line and it goes downhill from there, he's known here as "Wrong way
Corrigan" because he forwards by land line to everywhere ELSE but where
the traffic is intended to go. What's the sense in forwarding from the US
to Europe only to have the traffic rejoin the radio network there and
return whence it came via radio?
"Slapback" is but one of the LLL foulups, they haven't a clue as to how
to distribute bulletin traffic, but the corruption, misrouting, bad
routes, etc. are too long to list!
