thank you for your message. Jes, we are only few, and therefore
you can only have 3 million friends by Esperanto, maximally. :-)
But what is norsk good for? If you travel to Japan, Brazil, Austria, you will
probably find more people speaking Esperanto than norsk.
If you are unlucky, that person, who eventually knows norsk, may speak riksmal
while you know nynorsk.!
Did you try English in Brazil, Japan, East London?
i "enjoyed" an official guide in London who boasted of speaking cockney only.
He refused to give my monay back.
When i start teaching Esperanto to anyone, i tell him, that he should NOT
expect any economic advantages of it. Esperanto is very good for the brain,
and for the soul. Nevertheless i had even countable advantages from it.
During my years in Tokyo i found more friends by Esperanto than by
English German and french together.
One can feel quite lonesome in a large city speaking only English.
