dear Ken, my friend
just this morning I red in a "firefighter-forum" about the loss
of the 19 colleagues and in addition to it I just saw an extended
tv-coverage.
I saw the suprevisor of the team , an -how he looks to me . "old
smoekeater" who definatelly has seen horror an woe in this duty
lif fighting agains this tears, * He tried to hide it but..
I saw the horror of the blaze (whole Germany is following up
these coverages in our "news") which I really can immagine, the
hell has opened the gates!
Following the remarks in the forum there is only one feeling:
"These poor fellows" I know what forest fires are, I even was too
often part in it but a fire like that, heat like over 40
centigrades (in Arizona up top over 50!!) it even to me is
overstretching my fantasy.
WE, THE GHERMN FIRE FIGHTER FEEL WITH THE FAMILIES and hope they
will understand the thanks of your nation( I even saw the speech
of your president Obama, expressing his gratitude - and that
sound more as the "normal" statement, there was obviously deep
sympathy)
