 It's a well known fact that some people freeze up under stress but it
doesn't only apply to morse code. I have seen it in my capacity assisting
the adjudicator in music eisteddfods. Kids can play a piece well until in
the public eye and then suddenly they get stuck and end up in tears. Some 
"experst" use this as an argument against  holding muci exams and
eisteddfods but they are really only dodging the issue. In some facets of
life we need to exhibit skills and music is one of them; so is morse code
(although it is not compulsory now of course but we are talking of when it
was compulsory).

Yes I saw plenty of those derogatory comments and I did not think they
were helpful.
Your contribution to such as me are very much appreciated. Without your
help I would have been off packet a couple of years ago.

Yes it can be but the present intolerant attitude of some amateurs from
overseas is not helpful.
