I'm replying to my own message.  Hello me! Anyway, the deal is
I did find someone to rebuild it, and I jut got my PB39 back
from bulldog batteries.  So far it looks good. Though I have
my THd7A out to be upgraded to THd7A(G) so I can't actually
use the battery until then.

I'm pulling together my HT situation, getting new batteries
and a charger and a new antenna.  Actually I've never used
HT's much -- partially to avoid the geek factor of walking
around with a radio, but oh well.  I will have this working
and I have made it a goal to try to talk using an actual HT
more often.  We'll see how that works out.  (Also maybe I'll
fuss with Sky Command now that it is legal.)
