I am experiencing a similar problem with saving any kind of changes to Macros!
If I alter any macro at all in version 2.12 it will reboot the computer!
Version 2.14 will reboot the computer right from the get go unless I delete
the MixMacros.ini file first. But, as soon as the MixMacros.ini file gets

Is there a way to have a macro refer back to the most recently saved serial number to use as a repeat during a contest?

I normally use <SAVE QSO at the end of my second macro during S&P (the one containing my "sent exchange") so that I don't forge

t to save it. But then if I'm asked for a repeat of the serial number (or other exchange) I have to type it man
ually. Which is no big deal - (most of the time) - but it would sure be nice to just hit a macro key that would look at that s

Is there such a macro that I have just missed? Or, is there another way to get it to work???

Thanks,

I have been using MixW 2.14 for a while now and use Hellschreiber mode quite often. Before I used MixW, I was using IZ8BLY's pr

ogram for Hellschreiber. In that particular program, there was an option where you could change the 'idle' chara
cter to anything you desired by inserting its ASCII code. I always used ASCII 32 for the 'space' character.

With MixW it looks like you are limited to the 'full stop' character. I have looked through the program but cannot see any way

of changing this. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I got it working now. First create the labels in QSL Print, using the macro scripts like <call, <name <rsts, etc.. and save i

t. Quit Print QSL. Open MixW , open your log, either select all or just the QSO's you want by holding down ctr
l and using up/dwn arrows. Right click on the highlighted items. Select Print QSL...popup says "print queue created". Quit M

ixW. Open Print QSL. Now open your saved label file. Now you will see the print queue icon is available. From
 there its pretty easy.
Made me half crazy trying to get this to work.. G1EAX was a great help! Good Luck!

The queue itself is in the directory printqueue, also in your mixw folder. It will contain files with a qpq extention. You migh

t check to be sure that you have that directory installed within the mixw folder, then create a print queue and
look in the printqueue directory and see that the qpq files exist. Other than that, I'm out of ideas. I can tell you it works n

icely here.

Hi Rich,

Yes I am running with an administrator account. I even re-applied permissions to the directory which oddly enough would allow

MixW 2.14 or Digipan 2.0 to run a saved Macro. However, after you shut down the application, the next launch wi
ll cause the reboot again. I believe that this problem has something to do with permissions to the files that get changed. In

other words, when you save a macro the permissions to that particular file may get changed to something inapprop
riate which causes the problem. I have not verified this theory yet.

Just a thought - are you running MixW from a user account that does
not have administrative privileges? Have you tried doing the same
thing from an administrator account? I have never been able to get
most ham software working properly from a user account, so the ham
radio user on my system is also the system administrator.

Well searching through the message archives has only resulted in more confusion. Here is my (newbie) question:

I noticed during the recent rtty contest that when I called up a spot off the cluster, it would usually be 2HKz off from the Ma

rk tone in the audio passpand. So I'd click on the spot and then tune down approx 2Kc.

Surely there is an offset somewhere that will adjust for this? An ini file perhaps. The menu offset in setup doesn't do it.

Confused.
