Hello to the few following the OIL @WW theme ....
I guess you saw on your local news that the pipeline from Alberta CANADA
has been ...well I hope killed, by the Federal Government in USA.
I watched the news and learned something about Nebraska, that I did not
know, and that was very close to the surface soil which is sand, is water
and part of a very very large underground lake that covers much of the
state. Answers the question why they call'em the "Corn Huskers".
I am shocked to learn that , while a better direct route from Alberta to
the oil refinery, and market...etc... it was even considered that they
take it thru this area, which is a food producing state?
The TV news and the interview with the lady and her demonstration of what
she claimed, was all I needed to side with those in that state, and what
a relief to see it squashed.
CANADA then, starts making moves to sell to China or Japan, and it seems
they are hinting, sending this pipeline to the west coast via BC.
This is the same company, that has a pipeline going thru Michigan USA
that ruptured and well they are still cleaning up, and no word on the
effects to be felt for years after.
Bottomline is profit.... again. BTW gasoline at the pumps this
morning is CAN $ 1.16:9 /litre. It goes up as we approach
the town south of us ...and extra 10 cents.
The rich get richer .... seniors get screwed better.
