Hi Angela and all,

When it comes to "insane" it all depends on POV, that is WHO is insane?
There really is no sanity when it comes tyo greenie politics (or much
other for that matter) so my comment was about that lame excuse about the
proposed route through "a food producing state". It has a sister, they're
against ethanol production because it diverts food crops to energy, now
THAT is insane! I have serious doubts we eat cow corn but greenies don't
know the difference or think the rest of us don't.

On the other hand if you think proposing another pipeline in itself is
insane I guess we Americans lost our marbles a long time ago, the US is
criss-crossed with pipelines already so what difference does another one
make? Yes, there have been incidents and I personally was witness to one
where a backhoe punctured a high pressure gas line and it looked like a
Saturn 5 rocket turned upside down. There were a few more here and there
but always the cause was the same, careless digging. Overall pipelines
have an excellent safety record so honestly, I'm not particularly
concerned about the sky falling.
