}
} Hello Pete and readers,
}
} I'm using 7plus ver 2.25 Pete, and yes, I do have the manual; at least the
} 7plus DOC file. You are obviously using a different version of 7plus Pete,
} because version 2.25 doesn't have a -SYSOP option as far as I can tell.
} There is no mention of it in the DOC file. So what version of 7plus has
} the SYSOP option Pete?
}
I'm using version 2.17

The Zip archive is 64K and is dated Jan 80.

That puts it somewhat out of date , but it still works fine for me.

The doc file contained within the Zip Distribution is *VERY* informative
and gives all the coding etc that is used for 7+. With this info it is
possible to "Hand Decode" a section of a 7+ part.

} When I decoded a partial 7plus set of parts some 10 years ago, I remember
} that it was five or six parts...definitely more than one, and I did it by
} changing some of the numbers in the 7plus files. Obviously I changed the
} number of parts number in the 7plus files to the number of parts that I had.
} Just what else I changed, I can't remember.
}
} The SYSOP option you mentioned would make it very easy to decode the
} first part. Would you care to put out the 7plus programme with this option,
} on packet radio, Pete. It would be useful to me and other packet radio
} operators.
}

I can send it, but as I mentioned above it is 26 years out of date.
The whole Zip distribution will have to be sent ( Licence condition
inposed by the Author ).

I will preceed the actual 7+ parts with a message saying that it is a
very old version but has some interesting features (apparently) not in
the later versions. I will send to 7PLUS @ WW.

73, Pete G6KUI
