I sometimes explain it this way:
IF God does NOT exist, and I die: that'll be 'the end' for believers and
non-believers, because there was after all nothing to believe in.
IF God DOES EXIST, and I die: He'll stand by His promise and I'll have
eternal live with Him and all aof my spiritual brothers and sisters.
Towards the non-believer God will also stand by his promise........
It is therefor safer to believe, QED.
