As for OFCOM I don't think they are to blame for anything, it's the
broadcasters that are both their own panacea as well as the problem.
The problem is too much self censorship.
I couldn't care less about a few swear words.
Swear words are just a defined set of letters or symbols that we have
been brainwashed to take offence to.
What we need is programming that forgets all morals and predefined
offensiveness so that we can explore what really meakes us tick and
thus redine ourselves and our problems in order to find solutions in a
time which humanity appears devoid of genuine inspiration and direction.
In the meantime we have consumerism, religious extremism and
language fascists as poor substitutes.
