Darwin himself or his theory isn't the issue.
But as it happens, I am reading book about 'degeneration',
which proves the theories of Mr. Darwin void, using todays
knowledge of DNA. 

Darwin may not have denied the existence of God, but to
assume that live originated from single-cell organisms,
denies the need for a Creator ie. God.
The time was right for the theory that Darwin gave us.
It was the excuse society needed to break away from the 
'chains' of the church which dominated moral then.
There was never an 'alternative' untill then.

If we are no more than brainy animals we are free to behave
as such, and the result of this 'freedom' can be seen in 
all the world today.

I state that the mess this world is in, is simply the result
of NOT obeying the 10 simple rules God gave to mankind.
