Anonymous Call Reject is the way Bob. It works so beatifully.
Since turning it on I have had zero phone spam.
We've only had one problem, a friend who works in the social services was
unable to call us as she has her number permanently witheld. She knew she
had to dial a number before making a call to allow her number to be sent
for just one call. Only she couldn't remember what she had to dial. Easily
solved.
David G4EBT point out some side effects. I wouldn't know if there are any
people who genuinely tried to call me and couldn't. But I'd be very
surprised if people such as doctor's receptionists didn't meet ACR on a
regular basis and know how to enable their number for an individual call.
I was registered with the TPS but its effect was at best marginal. I still
received numerous calls for marketing purposese etc. Now I have had ACR for
about 2 years with two separate phone companies and I have zero unwanted
calls. Brilliant.
