We don't have a system like that here in NZ. There are other ways:
* Buy a recharge card (with 12-digit code hidden under scratchy coating,
which when input over the phone or via text, will top up your account)
* Use an ATM (several banks' ATMs will top up direct from your bank
account)
* Register your bank account with Vodafone, and you can request it be
topped up right from your phone's menu wherever you are (currently only
one bank does this though)
* Use your credit card (from the menu on Vodafone's customer service
number)
* Use EFTPOS at one of several direct EFTPOS-to-phone terminals (never
seen one myself, but apparently they exist)
* Try guessing 12-digit top up numbers hoping one of them might work
* That one's not legal, by the way
* But that doesn't stop anyone from trying!
* Oh yeah I guess I can stop using bullets now.
So that's how we NZers have to top up.
