FIRST RAFARS RADIO RALLY STAND THIS YEAR 14 FEB 2010.
There will be a RAFARS Stand at Harwell Radio and Computing Rally at the
Didcot Leisure Centre Meryland Rd Didcot OX11 8AY. Contact Martyn G4SOH.
Help is required by Members to run the RAFARS Stand.

BLACKPOOL (NORBRECK CASTLE) RADIO RALLY 11 APRIL 2010.SEE NL137 and 140.
Roy G0TAK is pleased to report that arrangements for the hoped for Special
Event Station at the Norbreck Rally on 11th April are proceeding well.
A strong RAF, ATC, ACF and SCC presence is anticipated. Two radio stations
will be operated (plus or minus QRM) one on Amateur frequencies and one on
an ATC military network. No 1 (Welsh) Wing are bringing a fully equipped
comms wagon and the RSARS contingent will be using a radio equipped
landrover.
There will be a fully manned, joint RSARS/RAFARS stand within the
exhibition to cater for members of both societies.
Roy can not set up this event alone so please give him your support
especially if you live in NW England. Contact him by e-mail to
g0tak@kencomp.net or QTHr.

Any member may attend Council meetings but travel costs can not be paid.

Its with regret that Vic G3COY RAFARS 327 went S/K Sat 9 Jan 2010 at the
age of 89. Vic was one of the founders of ATC HF Radio and was a B Net
Controller for many years.
