Hi David and all,
The can of worms has been opened so let's put one under the microscope,
or through the looking glass as you prefer. Since some worship the CO2
god and have taken climate change as a religion we now have conflict
between church and state since the unholy merger of the two. Now I
thought they were separate and the US Constitution forbids it, even Jesus
warned against getting involved in "worldly affairs" so what's going on
here? Governments openly support this new religion and are heavily
involved in it, we're about to get a carbon tax and trading scheme rammed
down our throats. So what's this about taxing the Church??? Hmmm, the
money god! Yup, now we have TWO gods hand in hand and I thought we had
but one? Well, the money god has always been at odds with the invisible
sky god, now they're teaming up against him? This looks like a war about
to unfold, the one that John wrote about?
Meanwhile we have the immediate conflict, taxing the Church of the Holy
Gas, so why not tax all of them... or none? We have this unholy alliance,
religion has always had its politics and now politics have become
religion, the ancient Chinese curse is upon us, "May you live in
interesting times".
