Hi Pete and all,
I can't say I know the laws in other countries when I have so little idea
New Jersey. (;->) Seriously, what it boils down to is the legislators who
must justify their existance by making useless laws upon nonsense laws on
top of... until now we live in a BS nanny state intent on protecting us
from ourselves. Now that I'm of "that age" I'm hearing more and more from
around the world about "when I was your age sonny" I used to laugh at but
now see myself in it. Oh you know, those e-mails you get from friends
about how today compares with when we were kids and you sit there
wondering what the heck happened to our society. They give rise BTW to
one simple solution to how to counteract the dumbing down we see all
around us, how to get rid of the idiots, remove the warning labels.
I haven't heard any rumblings about Quebecois independence in quite a
while nor any as close to home as the squeaky wheels in South Jersey.
There was a bit farther west over illegal immigration but that quickly
quieted down when states passed their own laws to enforce those the
federal fail to enforce. Since you can only bear independence in
prosperous times we haven't seen in decades methinks the mice have come
to their senses and stopped squeaking. Nah, we don't need new countries
or new states but Canada has a new provence... hmmm. (;->)
