I would just like to correct this, being slightly pedantic.
According to the book by David Yallop on the Bentley case, the trial
extracts state that the words used were in fact.
"Let him have it, Chris."
These were uttered after the Officer who was shot had asked for the weapon
to be handed over.
Just shows how interpretations differ.
