In much the same way that I set up my girl friend with an email address, which
was only for test purposes, and two weeks later it had been picked up without
any further usage and three emails arrived containing virus's. (Viri?)

They didn't succeed as my PC is well protected as far as it is possible. It
has to be, as my personal details are widely advertised on the internet as
well as business directories like Yellow Pages.

The spam is a pain. I get about 30 per day in spite of my spam filters being
added to all the time.

Apart from medicinal products most of us get sent, I have to put up with
office furniture and equipment, stocks and shares, franchise offers and get
rich quick schemes.

Still, since I placed a certain worded sentence on my website, I no longer get
requests from far away places like India for keyboard lessons. I refer them to
a chap called David Sprunger instead. I leave you to figure that out.
