hi
i have an umbro (blue dial)ana-digi-alarm quartz watch.
with stainless steel bracelet and white hands / second hand is red.
it has a rotating bezel.
the most unusual aspect of this chronometer is the time setting....later
it has analog 12 hour dial...hours minutes ,seconds
and digital year month day date hours minutes seconds
then ''weird'' date ... says 04148 for wed 11th may 2011
then alarm ...hours minutes seconds
then stopwatch ... hours minutes seconds tenths hundredths
ok so far?
time setting
===============
to set this watch to keep time one depresses all 3 buttons...this displays
888888 on both digi displays.
pull out the adjuster and rotate to set analog time FIRST!!!!... DEPRESS THIS
KNOB(USUALLY A WINDER ON OLDER WATCHES)..ON THE SECOND...EXACT! as set by radio
controlled cl;ock / teletext / whatever is ones reference.
THEN press lower right button to start digi time setting procedure... this
should start all digi displays.
press lower left button in anymode(selectable by upper left button)ie not timer
or alarm....this will enable all settings to be made.
note it needs telling the day of the week even though it has the year.

i found that by trying to set this rather complex watch any other way it was
loosing 10 minutes a day if not worn... yet kept fairly accurate time when
worn.
now doing theb above EXACTLY it keeps excellent time.

i hope this has been of some use to some readers
