Yes
Perhaps synical me thinking here, it reminds me of the time when things
were moving from analogue to digital mobile phones. The service became
gradually poorer, black holes in coverage so forcing people to move. Also
is it possible that they are not maintaining the existing network so well,
another lever to go digital?
Living in the sticks we have no terestrial digital at all ... yet.
