Hi Clyde and readers,
WANTED SOAP??? Oh boy, you're really asking for it, better duck and
cover, the rude remarks are on the way! Mine is thankfully I live out of
range of the smell. (;->)
Anyway, tallow soap is processed with sodium hydroxide, lye, soda ash.
It's a paste and cannot be made into proper cakes and remain pure,
chemicals which solidify such things like vegitable oil into margerine
must be added.
That stuff you buy in the store including the so called "natural
ingredients" products are detergent variants, not soap. Yes, the term
"natural" only means naturally occuring but not necissarily made by
nature. then too if they have natural origins, usually so much other crap
is added you may as well say they came out of a chemical factory. Such
are the laws and the practice of psychology in advertizing.
Soap? What is soap? (;->)
