keep young and beautiful; it's all in the mind!

There is a place for practicality, but there is enough of it blowing
down the street in a bin collection strike, or work slow, to defy that
logic! Getting the collection done, is the logical part since it is of
immediate interest to all concerned. WHY? did it ever have to come to
that point - where everything comes to a stop, folks start blaming
everyone else in sight, and as tempers rise, and rubbish spills over
outside .. you might even hear the cry, "it wouldn't have happened if
WEIRDO had anything to do with it?" ........ 'Who said that?' .. "Idid",
what makes you think that WEIRDO had anything to do with it in the first
place?

You probably wouldn't know a WEIRDO if he/she came up and asked you for
a light .. for a drooping fag end? To your knowledge, have you ever
seen one, dealt with one; you have heard of one - did you ever respond
to one? Pity .. safe to say, there isn't one nearer than a thousand
miles from you! Then again, I am only guessing.

Why do WEIRDO's write copy; for their own satisfaction? Simply because,
it is felt that, you cannot take chances where someone says IT .. as it
IS; instead of taking the mass observance point, and following on, out
of curiosity! You never know? I have to agree with that; but, it cuts
BOTH ways ......

I decided 6 months ago, to shear off 12 inches, right off the top of a
privet hedge that grows along my frontage! THAT, is a lot of bagged
cuttings, and you haven't even started to tackle the stuff under the top
.. there is an equal mass to come off it? Electric shears were neat,
but they took ill out to tackling the initial shearing job, so I bought
a pair of well tempered hand shears! They are able to cut short; finger
girth twigs, but the woody part was nowhere near to such .. only in
imagination! Further, the weather was dodgy and electric shears need,
dry weather. That, by the way, is WEIRDO talk!

Shorn a foot right off the top, and levelled across - through the
middle, you can see down to the roots, as it didn't get the light, so
now it can fill out, or xxx! Sides and ends shorn off, and I had bags
of clippings, and tired wrists. 6 months later, the shoots are up at
least a foot in height, and the sides and ends, bushy .. needs another
trim, but this time, I have my NEW hedge trimmer, electric, and 50 cm.
alternating blades, which are efficient! Can't wait for ever, for the
weather to change - pick a lull, and get shearing, tidy up, needing more
than one bag, at least two - can't put it in the wheelie bin, since it
is STILL full up and awaits collection?

Come next April, I have to go through this yet again; still, that's
Nature, I don't argue the toss with that! It isn't a WALL to keep
others off my patch; privet, is just to screen!
