Celebrating the Athens Olympics

All radio amateurs can qualify for an Athens 2004 Olympic Games Awards by
making the necessary qualifying contacts with Greece between now and the
30th of September.

Special prefixes J4, SX and SY count as ten points each, normal SV stations
are worth five points, and the Radio Amateur Association of Greece's
headquarters station SZ1SV counts 50 points.

A total of 250 points is required for the Bronze Award, 350 for the Silver
and 500 points for the Gold Award. 

The awards are given for contacts made on CW, SSB, RTTY, or Mixed Mode.
