  Hi  Ralph and other readers.  You did not say which version of  Windoze
  you  are using.  I use Win98SE and the way I display 24 hour time is as
  follows:

  Run  Windows. Click Start,  Settings, Control Panel, Regional Settings,
  Time. In the Time Style box I use HH:mm:ss and that works for me. Click
  on the little up/down arrows to scroll the various settings.
