Fortunately you don't have any power to control the language we use and
"gaol" is in quite common use in Oz. I quoted plenty of examples for you
when you started on this subject, (was it really two years ago?) but as
usual you ignored it. Do I have to quote them again?
Language usage in newspapers varies in this country. Some Eastern States
newspapers use American spelling. We don't on this side of the
continent.Live with it! Noone will take any notice of your opinion.
