Hello Angela;
I posted the posting to the YL Net on Yahoo ... and got it seems
a reply there too.
I think Angela , you also take it the extra steps in being a sysop
of a BBS. BBS sysops these days are getting scarce and a dieing
breed, and well as once a landline BBS sysop, I can appreciate some
of the storys that come to me from behind the scenes of BBS sysoping
and I appreciate the time you took to reply to the posting.
There was a very very large number of people from YL @WW I remember
and the impact on my family, and the friendships that happened and
I know they are still around, even if the BBSes local to them are
not, or no activity...but by posting, I keep it alive, as you do
replying.
The problem is my medical, and it is harder to sit long and type
the YL @WW as I did in the past. Posting here is the main focus
for me ...not on an Internet Forum ... but then with BBSes going
as we have here in Canada at the end of this month, the oneday
option will be post only on the Internet site or none at all.
WE have here for me ...only a few BBSes I can reach. If they go
my packet days are done. Thats it. I depart with great memorys.
With my HF out...again ... last a month until the storm and tree
thru the house, I can not get on HF to promote Packet and BBSes
which I did, and we had a club re-activate their packet system
as it is still there today.
Babbling too long ...must be a senior moment... thanks anyway
Angela. I hope yo know what I am saying, and encouraging packet
activity, as well more users and BBSes...
