I don't know if there is an answer to this which I haven't seen but today,
I experimented on a file called DRESDEN.P01 etc but less than half of the
14 parts. I used:

7Plus DRESDEN -SYSOP to see what happened.
As I checked with ACDSee, I noticed I had a file called DRESDEN.MF which
was a picture of a town. The whole thing would have been DRESDEN.JPG.
This I found out using View in Xtree.
My7Plus is 2.17 BTW and I haven't seen a manual since I first used it over
10 years ago. Back then, I think it was 2.12 but not sure.

With TPK, I used to decode, extract and create 7Plus manually, using the
switches in the -H help file. It was surprising what you could do with it.
PKZip and PKunzip were similar in being capable of all sorts of tricks.

I think that using Winzip and the auto 7Plus in Winpack, makes you forget
how to do these things but each to his own.
I do remember someone who was very experienced, putting out a bull asking
how to concatenate files. I sent him an SP and got an embarrassed SP back.
We never said anything by bull. That is the way of impolite people.

I had never heard of the SYSOP switch before so I will keep it for future
reference. Thanks to those who mentioned it.

All the best from - Ian, G0TEZ @ GB7FCR
