I have Skype installed on my PC although I've never yet used it.

I've even got a microphone for it but it's still in it's bubble wrap package
and has been for months.

Isn't true that to use Skype the other party has to be on the other end at the
same time and you can't just "ring" and get an answer or leave a message?
