It's only within the pasty 4 years or so that I've attended rallies again.
The Rainham Radio Rally here in Kent has the following "features":-
- Big time retailers couldn't care less about the even (no sales)
- There's oodles of component sellers
- Their stalls are packed with components and it's a fight to get to
to the front and see the components.
Are we really a nation of secret homebrewers or just skint ? ;-)
But think about this - why are *component* retailers making long journeys
to flog punters their bags of resistors/capacitors etc and the "Big Three"
rig makers can't be faffed ?
