Hello to all?.

Powerful Nor?easter to Bring Heavy Rainfall, Minor to Moderate Coastal
Flooding and a potential 2-day damaging wind event to Southern New England?.

....A High Wind Warning remains in effect for all of Eastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island from 10 AM-6 PM Saturday. A Wind Advisory
is in effect from 6 PM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday and a High Wind Warning
is now in effect from 7 AM Sunday Morning through 6 AM Sunday Evening
for Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island....

....A Wind Advisory is in effect for Western and Central Massachusetts
and Northern Connecticut from 10 AM Saturday-7 AM Sunday. A High Wind
Warning is now in effect from 7 AM Sunday Morning through 6 PM Sunday
Afternoon....

A Wind Advisory continues for Southern New Hampshire from 10 AM
Saturday-7 AM Sunday. A High Wind Watch remains in effect for Sunday
Morning through early Sunday Evening?.

A Coastal Flood Warning is now in effect for Narragansett Bay and
portions of the South Coastal Massachusetts area from 11 AM-3 PM
Saturday. There is also a threat for Minor Coastal Flooding during the
same timeframe over Cape Cod and the Islands?.

A Flood Advisory is in effect until 145 PM Saturday for Southern New
Hampshire, Western, Central and Northeast Massachusetts, and Western and
North-Central Rhode Island for 1.5-3? of rain with isolated 4? amounts
possible. While this rainfall will not be enough to cause widespread
flooding of rivers and streams, urban and poor drainage flooding will be
possible Saturday?.

....Formal SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton will commence at
10 AM Saturday and maybe secured by 6 PM EDT but cannot rule out Ops
through late evening. The Wind Advisory timeframe will be covered by
self-activation with Ops if required. Formal SKYWARN activation with Ops
at NWS Taunton will commence again Sunday with the High Wind Warning now
in effect. Further details on Sunday?s activation to follow in future
updates....

A powerful nor'easter using energy from former Pacific Hurricane Paul
will cause heavy rainfall, minor coastal flooding and damaging winds
from late morning through early evening Saturday. Wind gusts of 60-70
MPH are probable over the High Wind Warning area with wind gusts of 50
MPH or slightly higher in the Wind Advisory area. Winds will decrease
but remain strong from early Saturday Evening through Sunday Morning
with wind gusts of up to 50 MPH expected with Wind Advisories remaining
in effect. Winds will then increase with potential for wind gusts to
around 60 MPH Sunday and a High Wind Warning is now in effect for
Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Northern Connecticut from 7 AM-6 PM
Sunday with a High Wind Watch for the same timeframe posted in Southern
New Hampshire.

A Flood Advisory is now in effect for Southern New Hampshire, Western,
Central and Northeast Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut and Western
and North-Central Rhode Island. Heavy rainfall of 1-3" is possible
across Southern New England with isolated higher amounts up to 4?
possible. Widespread flooding is not anticipated but typical urban and
poor drainage flooding is possible in a few areas and this threat will
be monitored closely.

A Coastal Flood Warning is now in effect from 11 AM-3 PM EDT for South
Coastal Massachusetts and areas in Rhode Island around Narragansett Bay
and the rivers and streams that spill into the Bay. Strong southerly
winds will create enough of a storm surge to cause a moderate coastal
flood event in the warning area. Minor Coastal Flooding will also be
possible on Cape Cod and the Islands with strong winds building up high
seas.

SKYWARN formal activation with Ops at NWS Taunton will be done on
Saturday from 10 AM-6 PM. If winds decrease as expected to Wind Advisory
levels, activation maybe secured until Sunday pending the amount of wind
damage occurring but it is also possible that formal activation will be
needed through late evening. SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton
will also occur Sunday with the issuance of the High Wind Warning and
the activation timeframe will focus on the period of strongest winds for
the region. Details on the timing of the activation Sunday will follow
in future coordination message updates.

The next update will be posted by 1130 PM this evening.
