Thank you Ray,VK2TV, Don VK6DW and VK5KAA for your advice. Much
appreciated. My problem is only temporary as I hope to have the main
computer back in action Monday or TUesday.Ray I keep changing the BPQ in
the comms setup to TELNET but it then brings up an error message which
does not make much sense to me QUOTE:
FAILED TO FIND SV2AGW PACKET ENGINE.PACKET ENGINE NOT INITIALIZED
It then goes looking for BPQ again and checking comms setup shows that it
has again changed back to BPQ.I can't find any reference to SV2AGW except
that sometimes it changes the setting from telnet to AGW in comms setup.
It is mostly a case of not wanting to be beaten and curiosity now as I
should be back on the main computer in a day or two. As it is I can send
and receive bulls and reply to them OK but I can't read PNL messages
without going to the trouble of finding the messages in the MAIL folder in
the main program and that is a messy way of doing it. It does not allow me
to reply either.
