Thank you for your kind support.I will always wear it.
I was only making a minor point about our UK political parties.
We had one party in power between 1979 and 1997, then the other one took
over from 1997 to the present.
They obviously thought that, if the previous party stayed in for 18 years
they must have done something right and copied them.
This leaves the ordinary voter in a quandry. I am not alone in deciding
that I will not vote for either as they are very similar.
Some people vote for minority parties with no real chance of getting
elected - that's their choice but it does make the party in power either
adopt some of their policies or, at least, pay lip sevice to them.
That's it in a nutshell. I will probably get some disagreement but I am
just trying to be dispassionate.
On your final point. Yes our turnout is falling too. I don't think it is
down to 25% yet though.
