Well , Memory saving tips for Windows 98...I don't know
about the SE Version , but I would start with Windows
itself.
Kill all the little programms you don't need, Games ETC.
Do you want the Calculator?
its Picture and or Soundreaders , its Demo files , if any?
Do you need the "Help" files?...by much usage of Windows you
probably know them by heart.
Run once in a while a Programme that gets rid of unneeded
Registry entries - you could delete that programm if its to
big itself and store it on disk in the meantime.

Or do you mean you run out of Ram?
There is a programme RamBooster , that allows to kill some
unneded Ram all the time and frees it for new purposes - it
might slow down your running applications somewhat , but
sometimes it allows you to continue when otherwise "IT"
freezez up. It was available at :
www.sci.fi/~borg/rambooster. ( borg@sci.fi )
